Fleece Ribbon Tag Blanket

The question most asked of us is "What is this?"   

The "right" response is it is a little comfort blanket that kids can take with them.

Kids like to rub the silky tags. Each Taggie is approx. 12" square. It does vary since I do cut them myself and I try to accommodate the design on the fleece. Each taggie has 16 individual ribbons sewn into the fabric. Some are all satin and some have a variety of textures including gross grain ribbon. Each ribbon is sewn securely into place - 3 times prior to finishing. Safety is paramount to me - the first one that I made was for my niece.

The alternative answer to "what is this?" is - "Anything you want it to be". We have had people buy them for wall hangings - the handy loops provide a great way to hang them as a decoration. We have many different sports teams - Michigan State, University of Michigan, Detroit Tigers, Green Bay Packers - guys buy them for "Spirit" towels. My thought is "hey, for $12 use it how you want". I would not suggest using it as a pot holder - I am pretty sure that it would not take the heat.
